The project
This research project aims to transform the tumor microenvironment by developing new immunotherapies specifically targeting macrophages. We leverage the long lifespan of tissue-resident macrophages to use them as a strategic therapeutic platform capable of durably stimulating anti-tumor T lymphocytes. Our approaches are already patented. We utilize preclinical murine models of breast and lung cancer to validate the efficacy of these therapies prior to their future clinical transfer.
Our Innovation Axes:
- Therapeutic Antibody Engineering: Development of molecules capable of precisely targeting different macrophage sub-populations.
- Advanced Vectorization: Use of antibodies coupled with immunostimulatory cytokines or lipid nanoparticles.
- mRNA Therapies: Delivery of lipid nanoparticles carrying mRNA encoding immunostimulatory signaling pathway proteins.
