The 20th Congress of Apprentice Researchers of the Institut Cochin was held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

For 20 years, the Institut Cochin has participated in the Apprentice Researchers program developed by the association L’Arbre des Connaissances (The Tree of Knowledge).

Throughout the school year, 17 students from Paul Bert and Saint-Exupéry middle schools and Paul Bert and Claude Monet high schools regularly visited our laboratories and immersed themselves in the world of research.

Eight pairs or trios of students from 9th and 11th grade, mentored by 17 young volunteer researchers, carried out a scientific project grounded in current research, learned about the experimental method, and discovered the workings and careers of research.

The students presented their work to their mentors, their families, and program supporters on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the final presentation held at the Institut Cochin.
