Les projets dans le domaine du cancer vont de la recherche fondamentale qui vise à mieux comprendre les mécanismes moléculaires et cellulaires qui aboutissent au développement de tumeurs, à la recherche translationnelle en partenariat avec plusieurs services hospitaliers des hôpitaux Universitaires Paris Centre-APHP.
Institut Cochin, located within the Cochin-Port Royal hospital, allows the doctoral training of young scientists, as well as physicians and pharmacists, in various fields of biomedical research with many interactions between our main axes of research: Microbiology, Immunology, Cancer, Metabolism and Endocrinology, Genetic and Cellular Plasticity.
L'Institut Cochin, implanté au sein de l’hôpital Cochin-Port Royal, permet la formation doctorale de jeunes scientifiques, ainsi que de médecins et de pharmaciens, dans des domaines variés de la recherche biomédicale avec de nombreuses interactions entre nos principaux axes de recherche : Microbiologie et Immunologie, Cancer ; Métabolisme et Endocrinologie et Plasticité génétique et cellulaire.
Violaine Bortolin presented her PhD work ath the 16th edition of the European Meeting on Glial Cells in Health and Disease that was held in Berlin, Germany. She answered numerous questions on her work and listen to great presentations. She is coming back to the laboratory with many new ideas.
