Discover the winners of the My Thesis in 180s final!

Our congratulations to Ludivine Royer of the team Interactions Plasmodium - red cells, 1st jury prize and public prize ex aequo for her presentation on "Study of the regulation of mechanical properties of erythrocytes infected by Plasmodium falciparum"!  The Institut Cochin also wishes to congratulate Léa Cascaro, 2nd jury prize and Mélanie Sébastien, public prize, all three awarded on Thursday, March 20, 2025 during the ASPC (Alliance Sorbonne Paris Cité) final of the My Thesis in 180s competition, and all the 10 candidates of the Alliance Sorbonne Paris Cité for their very high-quality performances.

My Thesis in 180 seconds

My Thesis in 180 Seconds is a competition of eloquence and popularization of science. During this 12th edition, the 10 finalists impressed the jury with the quality of the work provided. Among the finalists was also from the Institut Cochin: Jeanne NAVARRE, enrolled in the doctoral school Bio Sorbonne Paris Cité, who presented her thesis work entitled: Role of MAIT cells and the Conxsachie B virus in type 1 diabetes.

During this final, 170 people attended the presentations live and more than 1,200 Internet users followed the final live on YouTube. When it came to awarding the public prize to the person who had best popularized their thesis work, 301 voters voted to award 2 public prizes ex aequo.
