Alberto Iannuzzo, PhD student in the Randriamampita team under the supervision of Jérôme Delon, received the Junior Talent Award of the European Society of Immunodeficiencies (ESID) at the ESID congress on October 16. The project, conducted in collaboration with Isabelle Meyts' laboratory (Laboratory for Inborn Errors of Immunity, KU Leuven, Belgium), explores the role of pathogenic variants of the GTPase CDC42 in triggering hyperinflammation, thus opening up new perspectives in the field of congenital immunodeficiencies. Alberto presented these results at the biennial ESID congress which took place in Marseille from October 16 to 19, 2024.
