For the 2026 Science Festival, we are welcoming 45 visitors—divided into two groups—this Wednesday, October 7, for an immersive experience at the heart of biomedical research.

🔎 On the agenda: a journey into the heart of cells featuring two complementary workshops.

🔬 At the IMAG’IC photonic imaging platform, participants discover how scientists observe and study cells using cutting-edge microscopy technologies.

🧪 The Foldscope workshop offers a hands-on experience: visitors learn the principles behind this miniature paper microscope and build their own observation instrument.

It is a wonderful opportunity to go behind the scenes of a laboratory, interact directly with scientists, and gain a concrete understanding of how biomedical research is conducted.

A big thank you to everyone at the Institut Cochin, Claire Desnos Pierre  Bourdoncle Axelle Guédon S.K. Manon Babise Maëva Gauduin  Cecilia Ramirez, for bringing this day of open, accessible, and shared science to life!
