To kick off the *Fête de la Science* (Science Festival) and as part of our science outreach initiatives, we are delighted to welcome Thalie Law for a seminar titled:
🏺 "What if Law could save glass?" (in French)
How do we study the degradation of ancient glass? And how can physicochemical sciences help us better understand and preserve our heritage?
👩⚕️ Holding a PhD in physical chemistry, Thalie Law conducted her doctoral research between 2022 and 2025 on the degradation of ancient glass at the IRCP and the C2RMF. Alongside her PhD studies, she worked as a science communicator at *Les Étincelles* (Palais de la Découverte), combining research with public engagement. She is currently pursuing postdoctoral research at the C2RMF and the National Institute of Art History (INHA), working on a project dedicated to the digital archiving of works by the Della Robbia family.
A seminar at the intersection of research, science communication, and heritage conservation—discover science from a new perspective!
