He is currently a member of the University Council of Laval University.

His ongoing research interests are lipid mediators of inflammation, understanding early atherosclerosis in rheumatic autoimmune diseases, and neutrophil biology. The Arthritis Society of Canada (2023-2025) and the Canadian Institute for Health Research (2024-2029) currently support his research activities. He participated in several international conferences, workshops, and schools as a section chair/co-chair/moderator or invited speaker. He is a member of the editorial boards (Biochem.
