JeCCo is pleased to announce the 16ᵗʰ edition of its Annual Symposium, entitled “How Science Adapts to a Changing Society” !
The event will take place in the Luton Amphitheater, in the Faculté building of Institut Cochin (24 rue du Faubourg Saint-Jacques, 75014 Paris).
Our goal is to bring together researchers from diverse scientific backgrounds to explore how science adapts and innovates in response to today’s societal challenges.

The symposium is open to all and free but registration is mandatory.
Please confirm your participation by filling this short form before the 9th of January 2026: https://forms.gle/NpBoVaAVYugSSrMRA

Important for PhD students

For students affiliated with BioSPC, participation in the symposium will count as doctoral training hours for those who present.
For students affiliated with other Doctoral Schools, discussions are currently underway.

The theme “How Science Adapts to a Changing Society” is broad and open to all. You do not need to work directly on societal issues to participate, the goal is to reflect on how your research, whatever the field, contributes to scientific progress and, ultimately, to the advancement of society.
This symposium is a great opportunity to showcase your research, exchange ideas, and present your work from a fresh perspective, highlighting how your scientific contributions can help address the evolving challenges faced by society today.

We look forward to your contributions and to sharing another inspiring edition of the JeCCo Symposium together!

Warm regards,

The JeCCo Team
